About Us
RiseSmart, based in Silicon Valley, is transforming the way companies provide transition services and individuals use the Web to find jobs. BusinessWeek touts RiseSmart’s approach as making "a lot of sense." And the San Jose Mercury News says, "RiseSmart typifies the valley's knack for using technology to disrupt standard business practices."
What makes RiseSmart special? We’re uniquely focused on helping displaced employees and other jobseekers find new jobs — fast. And we’ve developed systems that combine sophisticated technology with one-on-one support to make this happen.
For corporations experiencing job reductions, RiseSmart Transition Concierge is a dynamic new model for transition services. We dispense with traditional "soft" services like grief counseling, office space, and group seminars -- services that are costly to employers but of relatively low value to employees -- in favor of aggressively helping workers find a new job.
Each displaced worker is assigned a transition specialist who works with them one on one, rewriting their resumes, assisting them in utilizing social networks in their job search, and delivering personalized job leads from across the Web. By leveraging RiseSmart technology to focus on the jobseeker's most pressing needs, we are able to improve employee satisfaction in our corporate clients’ outplacement offerings -- at a fraction of the cost of traditional outplacement solutions.
For these reasons, RiseSmart has quickly earned the business of some of the most forward-looking companies in the Fortune 500.
RiseSmart also has a consumer offering for individual job candidates. RiseSmart Job Concierge is a powerful helping hand for jobseekers, eliminating the frustrations of searching for jobs online. A 2008 survey by Kelton Research revealed that most jobseekers are spending an average of 50 hours per month searching the Web for jobs -- scouring job boards, reviewing the HR sections of corporate sites, trying to find that needle in the haystack among the millions of job listings on the Web.
Through RiseSmart Job Concierge, we conduct online job searches on behalf of individual jobseekers -- delivering each of our subscribers a regular stream of actionable job leads culled from across the Web.
RiseSmart’s services share a singular focus on results. We leverage technology, along with our years of experience in job search and career counseling, to dramatically improve the efficiency of corporate transition services, as well as individual job searches.
