Participants in the RiseSmart Challenge love their blue, but they disagree on what shade. So as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament gets under way, entrants overwhelmingly favor the Kentucky Wildcats or the North Carolina Tar Heels to win it all.

Kentucky is getting plenty of respect this year as the tournament’s top seed, but some pundits have said their path to the Final Four may not be a smooth one. The hopes of the Carolina faithful likely rest on star John Henson, who injured his wrist in a recent win over Maryland.

The RiseSmart Challenge is the “office pool” we’ve created for all participants within our cloud-based outplacement program, Transition Concierge. Nearly a third of our pool’s pickers like the Wildcats, while UNC came in at a close second as the winner in 25% of the brackets.
