Job Concierge
Perhaps the most differentiated element of the Transition Concierge program is the Job Concierge service. Each of our customers will receive a personalized set of weekly job leads – handpicked by our team of job search specialists from more than one million unique jobs in our database. When a customer enrolls in our service, we learn about their background, experience, and job search objectives. Some of this occurs online via a very intuitive registration process, and some of it occurs during the course of an introductory call with one of our Transition Specialists. The bottom line – we learn as much as we can about each individual so that we can hand-pick relevant jobs from across the internet –that matches their preferences.
This is a “Push” job program whereby relevant job leads are proactively found across the internet – job boards, corporate websites, niche job boards, career sites, recruiter sites, etc. - and sent to each customer. The jobs are sent to the individual’s personal account, created for them on our Transition Concierge web portal.
One of the great aspects of the Job Concierge program is that customers can provide feedback on the job leads, via the job portal or through their Transition Specialist. The feedback is incorporated into the technology and also goes to the team of job search specialists. This enables us to get smarter each week - producing more relevant jobs each week.
Professional Resume Writing
Transition Concierge has a very diverse team of Certified Resume Writers. Each writer is certified by the US Professional Association of Resume Writers, and has obtained the CPRW status (Certified Professional Resume Writer). The team is set up across a variety of roles and industries. This allows Transition Concierge to identify and assign the most appropriate resume writer for each customer. This allows us to pair a knowledgeable resume writer with the candidate – someone who has experience writing effective resumes in that particular field. Every resume is custom, because every individual is different.
Each individual will receive a full Resume Package, which includes a custom resume, cover letter, thank you letter, and one page bio, ideal for loading on social networks. Besides eliminating the stress of you having to put these materials together, our team of writers will ensure that your resume has the key words that get it noticed by hiring managers and recruiters.
Transition Specialists
Each of our customers is assigned a Transition Specialist when they register for the service. Our Transition team members have extensive backgrounds in recruiting and career services, which adds a significant amount of value to each individual in their job search.
Within 48 hours of registration, the Transition Specialist reaches out to the individual through an introductory phone call to learn more about them and explain the details of their Transition program. This is followed by a one-hour, personalized strategy session to discuss goals and action plans to help the individual launch their career search and put them in front of relevant job opportunities.
Transition Specialists follow a step-by-step process to take the employee through the Transition program, and are there along the way to answer questions, keep the individual motivated and supported, and ensure that services are delivered in a timely fashion. It’s this proactive approach to career transition that sets Transition Concierge apart from the competition.
Career & Interview Coaching
Our Transition Specialists are also trained Career Coaches, who can offer a wide range of career transition services based on the individual’s needs. They will assist in setting career goals, identify a range of possible career opportunities, uncover obstacles in the job search, offer professional referrals, and provide guidance and support through each step of the process.
Transition Specialists will also conduct simulated mock phone interviews and provide valuable advice and feedback. These interviews are recorded and sent to the individual for later study and review. By participating in the mock interview process, individuals gain confidence in themselves and are better prepared when it comes time to speak with hiring managers.
Corporate Recruiting
We leverage our extensive network to identify a targeted list of recruiters for our Transition clients based on their preferences. This enables us to get our client’s resume in the hands of recruiters that specialize in their particular area of expertise. Our network of both in-house and top recruiters who are constantly looking for top talent is comprised of seasoned professionals with diverse backgrounds ranging from technical, engineering, finance, sales, executive search and more, as well as various verticals, from high tech to biotech, or food service to healthcare.
