Risesmart, a Randstad company and the leading provider of contemporary career transition services, announced its SmartSession workshops and individual coaching sessions, a series of trainings designed and delivered to support employees within an organization before, during and after a layoff or reduction in force.
As part of the program, RiseSmart will offer more than a dozen SmartSession trainings on a variety of topics, all of which can be delivered online or in person and in groups or one-on-one, to support current employees, transitioning employees, HR teams and managers. With RiseSmart’s methodology, remaining employees are trained to manage their careers or stay resilient during times of change, while transitioning employees get a head start on their job search. The trainings also prepare managers and HR teams to effectively handle transition events both during and after notification.
“Educational resources have always been a part of our transition methodology,” said president and CEO Sanjay Sathé. “We wanted to expand on what was already built into our flagship offering, RiseSmart Spotlight™, and provide value to each organization we serve – beyond those immediately impacted by a workforce reduction. SmartSession workshops prepare an organization’s managers and remaining employees to handle a notification and help displaced employees get back to work faster. Initial workshops have proven very successful with positive feedback from attendees on the usefulness of the material and support they received.”
SmartSession instructors are experts in their field, with backgrounds in coaching, HR leadership, and management, each with decades of experience. Every workshop is tailored to meet the needs of the participants and includes a comprehensive question and answer period.
“SmartSession workshops are essential for proper planning and preparation, establishing effective methods for workplace transitions,” Sathé added. “No matter how many employees you need to support, or where they are in their transition process, RiseSmart SmartSession workshops help your employees reach their goals and develop positive associations with your organization.”
The workshops range in length from 60 to 180 minutes and topics include:
- Manager Notification Training
